DIN 603 carriage bolts are round (mushroom) head bolts with a square neck directly under the head. When inserted into a square hole or pressed into wood, the neck locks the bolt in place, preventing rotation during tightening. This allows installation from one side only, making them ideal for wooden structures, frames, fencing, furniture and metal-to-wood connections.
Made from stainless steel A2 or A4, DIN 603 bolts offer excellent corrosion resistance and are suitable for outdoor, marine, garden, construction, industrial and architectural applications.
